Responsibilities
- Manage 15+ staff members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Implement lean practices to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce safety protocols across all warehouse activities
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory levels and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with transportation teams to optimize delivery schedules
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in high-volume environments
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA certification and strong safety record management
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Forklift certification and familiarity with material handling equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
