Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity targets
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Optimize workflow processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular cycle counts and manage inventory accuracy within 99.5% tolerance
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- Proven track record of leading teams of 10+ associates
- Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and warehouse automation
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPIs and metrics
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
