Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Manage and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff, scheduling shifts and conducting performance reviews
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all activities
- Optimize inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts to maintain accuracy
- Collaborate with logistics team to streamline supply chain operations
- Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and forklift operator training
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory tracking
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS/ERP)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends for peak seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
