Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Monitor inventory levels in real-time and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with logistics managers and shipping departments to optimize shipping and receiving processes and reduce lead times.
- Conduct regular audits of stock, equipment, and procedures to identify areas for operational improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, direct, and develop a diverse team.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license (Class C).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand or walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
