Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and manage 10-15 team members, fostering a safety-first culture
- Implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments for seamless operations
- Generate performance reports and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Associates degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
