Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize workflow processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless transportation scheduling
- Prepare performance reports and operational metrics for management
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory systems
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
