Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Train, supervise, and motivate 15+ warehouse staff to achieve performance metrics
- Implement lean practices to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely order fulfillment
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Resolve operational issues and maintain quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
