Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure workplace for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory discrepancies, and implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize storage space.
- Process Optimization: Analyze workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance and safety checks of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Reporting: Generate and review daily reports regarding productivity, labor costs, and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator certification is mandatory.
- Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
