Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency and meet KPIs.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts and conducting performance reviews.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to minimize accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock accuracy, and implement procedures to prevent loss or damage.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement process improvements to increase productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment certification.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Exceptional leadership and communication skills; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
