Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 15+ team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and productivity standards
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs by 15%
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Manage inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies using WMS technology
- Coordinate with transportation team to ensure timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Prepare performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operator certification required
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Proven track record of improving KPIs (OTIF, accuracy, productivity)
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution expertise
