Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Manage and develop a team of 10-15 warehouse staff through coaching, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety standards to maintain accident-free operations
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with transportation, procurement, and quality assurance teams
- Analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement in productivity and cost reduction
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Proven expertise in inventory control systems and WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent leadership abilities with track record of team development
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
