Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software and cycle counting
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Lead continuous improvement projects implementing lean methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proven track record of inventory accuracy (99.5%+)
- Experience managing remote administrative workflows
- Data analytics skills with ability to generate actionable insights
- Strong leadership abilities with conflict resolution expertise
