Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring inbound, outbound, and inventory operations run smoothly.
- Supervise, schedule, and train a team of warehouse associates to ensure optimal productivity and safety.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Monitor inventory levels using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely shipping and accurate receiving of goods.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and arrange for necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team under pressure.
- Familiarity with WMS software (e.g., Manhattan, SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
