Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes to ensure 100% accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Analyze operational metrics and KPIs to identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinate inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Supervise equipment maintenance schedules and ensure forklifts and pallet jacks are operational.
- Collaborate with upper management to forecast staffing needs and optimize warehouse layout.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing a team of 5 or more.
- Forklift certification (HAZMAT preferred but not always required).
- Strong working knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
