Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and manage team of 10+ warehouse associates on equipment usage and safety protocols
- Coordinate with procurement to maintain inventory levels of provided equipment (forklifts, scanners, pallet jacks)
- Implement lean practices to improve workflow efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with equipment handling expertise
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Ability to operate and train others on warehouse machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid forklift certification
