Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and OSHA standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Maintain and inspect warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors) to ensure operational readiness.
- Prepare weekly schedules and coordinate with logistics coordinators to meet delivery deadlines.
- Conduct regular safety audits and handle incident reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFPO) or valid forklift license required.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
