Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff during flexible shifts (day/night options available)
- Optimize inventory control procedures and implement lean methodologies
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-accident safety culture
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with logistics and transportation teams
- Train and develop team members through performance coaching programs
- Utilize WMS systems to track inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Conduct daily operational briefings and performance reviews
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and dock operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with flexible scheduling
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with inventory audits and cycle counting procedures
- Excellent leadership and team development capabilities
