Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Manage the scheduling of staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.
- Conduct regular audits of equipment and inventory systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Forklift certification and familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
