Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ warehouse associates through daily task assignments and performance feedback
- Implement Lean principles to optimize inventory control and reduce operational costs by 15%
- Ensure OSHA compliance through rigorous safety audits and accident prevention protocols
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics using WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Manage cross-functional relationships with transportation and procurement teams
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with inventory management experience
- OSHA compliance and safety program implementation expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Proven ability to manage union/non-union teams effectively
