Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Resolve operational issues and troubleshoot logistical challenges in real-time.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment (MHE) operator license.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of improving team performance and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret shipping logs, manifests, and inventory reports.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
