Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to meet daily targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely order processing and shipping.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules for forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and warehouse software.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) and current Driver’s License.
- Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
