Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee the daily receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Inventory Control: Implement and maintain strict inventory control procedures to ensure 100% accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Performance Reporting: Analyze operational data and prepare regular reports on productivity, costs, and inventory levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance for forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and managing shift schedules effectively.
- Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime during peak seasons.
