Job Overview
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the bridge between our operational staff and management. You will ensure that our inventory processes run smoothly, our team remains productive, and safety standards are upheld at all times.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA) and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track shipments, manage labor hours, and optimize workflows.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is highly preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
