Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring daily productivity targets
- Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system audits
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS software
- Train staff on proper equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Resolve operational challenges and maintain quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years warehouse or logistics experience (supervisory experience a plus)
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain during training
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
