Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and low turnover.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement procedures to minimize loss and shrinkage.
- Coordinate with logistics planners to optimize shipping schedules and carrier relationships.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Proven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands (standing, lifting up to 50lbs).
