Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move palletized goods using forklifts and pallet jacks to designated storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count and record inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols, including conducting daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- License: Possession of a valid forklift operator certification is preferred, but not required as training will be provided.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety.
