Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Cargo: Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load and unload trucks in accordance with safety regulations.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately retrieve items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipment using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Shipment Preparation: Verify package contents, apply proper labels, and prepare shipping documents for outbound freight.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driverβs License and forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and order fulfillment.
