Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and ensuring stock levels are correct in the warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order and report any maintenance issues.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse aisles clear and organized to prevent accidents and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
