Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in scanning, sorting, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Palletizing & Stacking: Properly palletize products and stack them according to weight limits and safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Order Picking: Accurately pick and stage orders for shipping in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must possess a current forklift operator license (certification provided if no experience).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory counts.
- Reliability: A consistent work history and punctuality are essential.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
