Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport palletized goods in and out of freezer and cooler zones.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners and inventory management software.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, discrepancies, and proper temperature compliance.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with GMP standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding temperature-sensitive handling.
- Packing & Labeling: Properly label and package products for shipping and storage.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in varying temperature conditions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or cold storage environment is preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate barcode scanners.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
