Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and update stock management systems using handheld scanners.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Stack and organize merchandise securely to optimize warehouse space and prevent damage.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift operator certification (we offer paid training for qualified candidates).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (not required for warehouse duty but preferred).
