Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials with precision and care.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, stock, and locate inventory items to ensure order fulfillment accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe operating condition and report any issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and organizing storage areas.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist in processing incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying counts, and preparing documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator license/certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Documentation: Ability to read and interpret shipping logs and warehouse management software.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
