Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment at all times.
- Assist in inventory management processes, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and workflow needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic reading and writing skills for documenting inventory and safety logs.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Flexibility to work overtime and varied shifts as needed.
