Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software (RF scanners preferred).
