Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working order and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload freight trucks with precision and speed, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company operational procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CPCS or OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a professional setting.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, warehouse protocols, and hazard identification.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
