Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate various forklifts (including sit-down and stand-up models) and material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and retrieve inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo for safe transport.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks without injury.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license (Class C) required for local driving tasks.
