As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our distribution network, ensuring that every shipment moves efficiently from origin to destination. You will work closely with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to optimize delivery schedules and resolve logistical challenges.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve delivery discrepancies or delays.
- Manage inventory transfers and ensure accurate warehouse documentation.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding shipment status and provide excellent service.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all shipping activities in the TMS (Transportation Management System).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to verify data accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
