Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance) to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and documenting load details.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of outbound orders and efficient stock rotation.
- Keep the warehouse aisles and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist in general warehouse duties including pallet wrapping and shrink-wrapping as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) issued within the last 2 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory.
