Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine pre-shift maintenance checks.
- Conduct daily safety checks and strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas with high accuracy.
- Document daily activities and report any damaged or defective materials immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure maximum efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification required.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
