Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management and organization.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies regarding warehouse safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class A, B, or C) with valid certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
