Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of all forklifts to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by properly scanning and tagging incoming and outgoing pallets.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to organize stock and optimize warehouse layout for efficiency.
- Assist in training new hires on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
