Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks before operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards or obstructions.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and safety targets.
- Verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications
- Current forklift operator certification (CDL Class B preferred but willing to train).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Must be reliable and have a strong commitment to workplace safety.
