Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and onto transport vehicles.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties, including sweeping and organizing pallets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL Class A or B is a plus, but not required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Valid driver's license (if required for warehouse driving duties).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
