Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and tagging items as required.
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklifts before and after each shift.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Clean and organize workstations, including pallets and aisles, to maintain high operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not always required for the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic reading and writing skills for labeling and documentation purposes.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
