Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials.
- Load/Unload: Efficiently load and unload shipping containers, trucks, and trailers.
- Inventory Control: Verify and record incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy in our WMS system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards, wear required PPE, and report hazards immediately.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- License: Valid Driver's License is required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse logistics or material handling.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
