Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently to ensure timely distribution.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock organization.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for counting and weighing cargo.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred but not always required).
