Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily, reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety instructions and inventory labels.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (training provided on-site if no prior certification exists).
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and accuracy.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
