Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory or tracking.
