Responsibilities
- Safely operate electric and diesel forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and loading docks.
- Conduct routine pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts using RF scanners and log data into the warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and handle physical tasks such as palletizing and stacking.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required (or ability to obtain one within 30 days).
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating steep ramps.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
