Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, receiving, and putting away stock with high accuracy to maintain inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, including proper PPE usage and reporting equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload inbound and outbound trucks using appropriate strapping and securing techniques.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, organizing aisles, and removing debris.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, shift reports, and quality control documentation.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3, or 4) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
